💙 NEWS FROM OUR MATES
Hunter releases more features to hunt for your leads 🎯
Our mates at Hunter have just released a few new exciting features we know you’ll love, and NEED!
Used by renowned brands such as Google, IBM, Adobe and Microsoft, Hunter is exactly as it sounds - a cold outreach platform that specializes in hunting down emails of professionals you’d like to get connected with 😉
Simply by typing a domain name, you can find all emails associated with the domain in a single click, as well as set up and send emails through their Campaigns tool. You can also integrate CRM's like HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho etc., to keep track of your interactions with each contact.
With the new releases, you can now automatically verify emails in Leads (Hunter's free CRM), connect your Outlook account to send your cold emails directly from your Outlook inbox, use Request Packs for months you need extra searches and get notifications for new emails they find under domains you’re following. Hunter starts at $0 with 25 searches and 50 verifications per month, try it out!
🤸 FUN PRODUCT WE LOVE
Optimize your video ads targeting with Biteplay 🎥
It’s disappointing when you spend so much time and money creating captivating videos… only to have them skipped after 5 secs or land on irrelevant videos with the wrong target audiences. And when you’re using the world’s 2nd largest search engine, YouTube, you want to make sure you’re getting as much bang for your buck!
Good thing that Biteplay, developed with YouTube, allows you to search for the most popular videos / channels / influencers around keywords and topics that are relevant to you. You can then use these to further optimize your Google (YouTube) Ads by letting Google know where you want them to be placed exactly!
(It’s like an SEO tool, but for videos and video content.)
Biteplay has a 7-day free trial with 2,000 video searches and 25 topic trackers. After that, pricing starts at US$99/month depending on how many searches you need. They’ve also gotten #2 Product of the Week on Product Hunt!
💭 TECH FOOD FOR THOUGHT
What happens to your data when you die? 🪦
Some platforms will allow you to delete a loved one’s account, but jury’s still out on whether companies would delete all the data that comes with it - or be legally able to pass it to other third parties.
Post-mortem data privacy still has loose regulations, but here are a few things you can already do to further protect your data:
Use Google's Inactive Account Manager: Notifies your appointed contact if your account has been inactive for a period of time.
Include digital assets in your will: You’ll need to appoint a digital executor to make sure your will is fulfilled.
Leave your passwords to the people you trust: You can do this using Dashlane (to you use abstract passwords) that your loved ones can use to delete your accounts or retrieve your data.
Appoint a “legacy contact” on Facebook: To determine who can manage your account after your death.
Just think twice about everything you share!
🌱 TECH FOR SUSTAINABILITY
Saving millions of trees with a simple change: reusable construction pallets 🚜
The UK construction industry alone goes through 18 millions wooden pallets every year - most of which are only used once. That’s 6,000 acres (/2,400 hectares) of forestry!
Eco-innovation company The Pallet LOOP have designed reusable pellets that are 100% FSC (Forest Stewardship Council, a global organization that certifies responsible forest management), and are engineered to be used again and again. The green pallets are also cheaper, and 100% stronger than traditional wooden ones with 176% more lateral strength!
The Pallet LOOP has a network of collection, drop-off and repair points across the UK. Let’s support them in their goals of cutting 40% of CO2 emissions from the industry and reduce timber usage by 75%!
💥 WHAT’S ON @ SPARKMATE
Sparkmate on 4-day work weeks 🤟
We’ve never worked for our clients on Fridays - Fridays have been dedicated to training and working on personal/team projects for Rocking Fridays!
But since the first milestone of the year started, Morgan, Max and Ghis decided to drop Rocking Fridays altogether - thinking the team is driven and passionate enough to take their personal and professional growth into their own hands through 4-day work weeks 🌟 and the team is already loving it, building anything and everything from homemade skates to e-foils and platforms for family businesses, and even spending the time to bond in the alps (what an amazing photo, right?!).
This doesn’t change much - our offices are still open 24/7! We can just work on our upskilling and personal projects when we want, where we want ;)
Exciting things are happening every day ⚡️ Follow us on social media to stay tuned!
